A Celebration of Love

L.O.V.E

L is for the way you look at me.
O is for the only one I see.
V is very very extra ordinary.
E is even more than anyone that adore.

As we get into the full swing (well almost) of the wedding preparations, I wonder how the actual day is going to turn out. We hadn't quite had a rigid idea of how we want the wedding to look like. While we know that we do not want an extravagant, overly exaggerated and over-the-top kind of wedding, the wants are pretty much perpetually evolving. As our many ideas (good, bad, wild,crazy-yes there goes des with his insanity again), falls into the cooking pot and blends into an unique tasty mix, it slowly becomes clear that that blend of ideas and expectations is steadily taking shape into a simple and heart-warming affair, a celebration of love.

With the guest list for Bali almost finalized, a pleasant pattern took shape. The folks who have RSVP are the core group of the very people who are dear to us. The primary criteria in which the guest list was first drawn in the first place. Thanks for proving us right! You deserve and have not misplaced our love for you, our dear ones (you know who you are, and stop grinning to yourself silly at the computer screen!).

While it is a given that it will be a celebration of love for Hsing and myself, the event is pretty much a celebration of love for all who are making the trip as well...

First and foremost, a celebration of His endearing love for us (and vice-versa) that He has blessed us with each other, you guys, a perfect setting and hopefully good weather.
For all those who love us enough to make the trip to Bali, a celebration of love and friendship.
For the newly-weds, a celebration of your love and new journey with your partners.
For the not-so-newly-weds, a celebration and reminder of your enduring love for you and your partners.
For the swinging bachelors and bachelottes, we hope that you find love in Bali and then we will celebrate more!

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
Ephesians 4:2

Best,
Des
